Peace Serunjogi transformed Kaynela Farms Ltd in Kayunga District from a small banana plantation into a 214-acre agro-tourism and eco-tourism destination. The farm combines sustainable agriculture, livestock, exotic animals, and wildlife experiences with eco-lodges, guided tours, and farm-to-table dining. Events like the Kaynela Food Carnival celebrate Uganda’s culture and cuisine.
By practicing organic farming and prioritizing community engagement, the farm creates jobs, supports local suppliers, and inspires youth to view farming as modern and profitable. Peace’s vision and diversification have built a multi-million shilling enterprise that sets a benchmark for agro-tourism in Uganda.
