Long-Acting HIV Injection Lakapavia Now Available in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe is rolling out Lakapavia, a long-acting HIV prevention injection providing six months of protection. Targeting 46,500 high-risk women, including pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, this discreet alternative to daily pills offers hope amid funding challenges. The first doses are donated by the U.S. government and the Global Fund.
