Amid growing anti-immigrant protests in South Africa, a group of South Africans marched in Johannesburg against tribal profiling and discrimination. Many from the Shangaan community say they are being wrongly targeted, harassed, and mistaken for foreign nationals because of their language and identity. Protesters stressed that South Africa belongs to all its citizens regardless of tribe and warned against rising tribalism, xenophobia, and exclusion. The demonstration highlights deepening tensions as immigration debates increasingly affect both migrants and local communities.
