Ugandan golfer Ronald Rugumayo has claimed his first Sunshine Development Tour East Africa Swing title after winning the Pearl of Africa Golf Series at Entebbe Golf Club. NTV Kenya reports that the reigning Uganda Open champion entered the final round leading the field and finished with a two-under-par 69. That brought his tournament total to 13 under par, four shots clear of the players tied for second. Birdies across the final round helped him maintain his advantage despite a few dropped shots. The victory adds another milestone to his recent form and highlights Uganda’s presence on the regional golf circuit.
