Since launching its first distribution center in 2016, Zipline has grown into a critical pillar of Rwanda’s health system, handling hundreds of daily deliveries across the country. By reducing stockouts, minimizing wastage, and improving access to life-saving resources, the drone network has strengthened both human and animal healthcare services. Rwanda is now expanding this innovation further, positioning itself as Africa’s leading hub for autonomous logistics and urban drone delivery.
